Chael Sonnen is a very strong fighter. Contrary to popular belief, he is a well-rounded fighter. I know that a lot of people think that he is only good at wrestling, but trust me, he’s also a very good striker. I know that Michael Bisping has the advantage in the striking department, but I would just like to point out that Chael Sonnen is not a weak striker.
When it comes to wrestling, I think that Michael Bisping is wary week there. In fact, his weakest point has always been his wrestling. Michael Bisping can’t stop take down attempts from Chael Sonnen, and I think that this will cost him this fight.
He has fought in both the bantam weight division as well as the feather weight division in several mixed martial arts organizations, but will Urijah Faber now currently fighting at bantam weight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship ever consider moving even higher up in to the light weight fighting division? Faber says not likely.
The reason being he stated is that he established him self at the 145 pound weight division, that is bantam weight, when he first started the in World Extreme Cage fighting organization, and they happenend to be the top organization for his weight class at the time he started fighting. Now World Extreme Cage fighting has since merged with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, since being bought out by Zuffa LLC in 2011.
Faber also stated that if the Ultimate Fighting Challenge wanted him to move up in weight for a super fight he would most likely do it.
